I make every effort to treat each patient with empathy and respect. I feel the key to a good relationship with a patient is being open and honest; it is my goal to listen, communicate, and be compassionate with each individual. This enables me to provide excellent customer service and allows patients to see they are my priority. I try to go out of my way to do whatever I can to make sure patients feel important and heard; I am their advocate. I have also put together a phenomenal team that I enjoy having in my office, as I am sure all my patients will enjoy interacting with as well. Each and every individual in this team has unique qualities that will essentially help improve the quality patient care we provide in office.

• Member of Santa Barbara Periodontal Surgery Study Club for 6 years
• Member of Stuart Gnathology and West Coast Gnathologics & TMJ Club for 10 years
• Successfully completed the IV Sedation program at USC in 1994
• Successfully completed the UCLA Aesthetic Continuum in 2007.
• Completed the Dental Implant course in 2008
• Completed the Invisalign Course in 2012
• Member of American Dental Association
• Member of American Academy of General Dentistry 
• Member of California Dental Association. 
• Member of American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. 
• Member of Spear Faculty Club and Spear Study Club for 5 years

Michelle brings years of administration experience in the dental field to help you achieve your perfect smile. Michelle's experience in insurance billing and negotiation ensures that patients receive thorough guidance when communicating with insurance providers. She believes planning your dental care doesn't have to be stressful and her calm and caring demeanor will help to put you at ease.

Michelle is a local and long-time Santa Barbara resident. In her free time, Michelle enjoys art, reading, and all types of music. If you see her walking around Santa Barbara with her dog, stop and say hello!

Valerie, became a dental assistant in 2019. She is very passionate about the dental field and is continuously learning. She is currently enrolled in school and is pursuing her dream in becoming a Hygienist. She loves being a part of the SB DENTAL TEAM! She is very enthusiastic and works extremely well with patients. One thing she loves the most, is when patients leave with a huge smile on their face! It makes her feel amazing! Outside of work she enjoys time with her husband and family. Some of her hobbies include reading and the outdoors. She can't wait to meet you!

Gamyn comes to us with 20 years of dental experience in private practice with 10 of those years in a periodontal specialty practice. Gamyn is also a certified Holistic Health Coach and has a license with expanded duties in Dental Hygiene. Gamyn brings her many years of experience in dental and blends it with her passion for overall health and wellness to create a dynamic experience for each of our patients.

Gamyn grew up in the Pacific Northwest and now lives in Ojai, California where she and her new husband have a big, blended family with 5 teenage boys, 2 cats, 5 chickens and the newest addition of a Vizsla puppy. She and her husband love to travel, garden and putt around on their Nordic Tug in the Channel Islands.
